Self-discipline is necessary to achieve self-direction. The school norms are a help to strengthen the students’ determination for growth in self-direction. They are guidelines to self-improvement rather than restriction to it.
Attendance on the opening and closing day of every term is compulsory.
Students who are absent for more than 2 days at a time will not be permitted to join the class without producing a leave letter. Absenteeism due to illness should be accompanied by a medical certificate.
No child should be brought to school if he/she suffers from a communicable or contagious disease.
Students must have an average attendance of 75% for the academic year.
Punctuality is the hall mark of success.
Punctuality is important. Students must be inside the school premises before 7:15 a.m. If a student comes late more than once a month, he/she will not be permitted to enter the school campus.
The prescribed school uniform must be worn on school days. Sports uniform should be worn on Monday and Fridays. Students who fail to come in complete school uniform will not be permitted to attend the day’s classes.
Girls should wear two plaits with white ribbons. Girls with short hair should wear a white hairband or a white bow. Boys should not wear any fancy hairstyle.
Students shall not wear gold rings, chains or anything of religious significance. Students are not allowed to dye their hair, grow or paint their nails, use mehndi or tattoos.
English is the medium of communication and students should compulsorily speak only in English in the school campus. Students are forbidden to speak in any local language, nor use profane or vulgar vocabulary.
Students are responsible to the school authorities for their conduct both in and outside the school.
Students are expected to be polite and courteous at all times. Any type of discourtesy or disrespect to members of the school staff will be dealt with seriously.
At the first bell, all students must gather for the assembly and remain at the allotted place, in order.
In the classroom, students should be seated only in the places allotted by the class teacher. No one is permitted to move from place to place or go out of the classroom, without due permission.
Students are not allowed to talk to parents/visitors or to leave the school premises during the school hours without the permission of the Headmistress.
Cleanliness is godliness. Students should be presentable, clean and main good hygiene.
Hygiene and cleanliness are very essential. Do not litter the campus. Toilets must be kept clean for the next user. Dispose sanitary napkins appropriately.
A student who damages/vandalizes/defaces school property will be held responsible for their actions. The student will be liable to pay for the cost of the article/ extent of damage or may be subject to disciplinary consequences.
Students are strictly forbidden to bring any sort of comics, periodicals or objectionable literature, valuables like ornaments, camera or any other electronic devices to school.
The purchase of any article or food from unauthorized vendors at or near the school premises is not allowed.
Students are forbidden to write or scribble on the wall, tables etc., throw paper or ink in the classroom or any other damage of school property.
Usage of mobile phones is strictly prohibited. If a student is found with the possession of a mobile phone, it will be confiscated.
Any objectionable/ defamatory posts on social media relating to a student will be seriously dealt with.
The school fees should be paid via the web portal only.
All students should complete their fee payment before the respective term exams.
Fees once paid will not be refunded.
Students are encouraged to visit the library and engage in a healthy reading habit. Reference materials to promote self-learning are available.
Students should maintain a record of the books borrowed from the library in the “Library Record” page and diligently return the same in good condition before the end of the time period.
Students who do not submit the library books on time or lose a book are liable to be fined.
Students should bring all the textbooks and notebooks as per the timetable.
No student will be allowed to be absent from any examination /test etc. without the prior permission from the Headmistress.
All record notebooks and assignments should be submitted on the due date specified by the teacher.
Students are liable to lose the marks allotted for Internal Assessment for any of the above reasons.
Every student shall take part in school games unless declared physically unfit or exempted by the Headmistress.
Every student should participate in one or more co-curricular activities as this is an important aspect of integral education.
The school reserves the right to dismiss or suspend a student on grounds of irregular attendance, malpractice of any sort or reprehensible behaviour.
Students are liable to be meted with strict disciplinary action for any of the following reasons:
The parent(s) and the student will be met by the Headmistress, given the necessary and sufficient proof / explanation, before the student is suspended or dismissed according to the extent of violation of conduct.
Further, the school reserves the right to withhold the Conduct Certificate.
As the school has a strong safeguarding policy, the students and staff is encouraged to report any cases of violation/ abuse to the Headmistress or the concerned teacher-coordinator.
The students are invited to use the “SUGGESTION BOX” and “COMPLAINT BOX” for any communication to the authorities.
In the journey of the transformation of the student, the parents and the school authorities are collaborators. There should be a healthy communication and dialogue to ensure holistic development of every student.
Parents are requested not to enter the classroom during class hours. Kindly follow the visiting hours to meet the Teachers/ Headmistress.

A student who is seriously ill, should not be sent to school or to appear for the examination.
When a student is absent for any examination, the parent should meet the Headmistress and submit the Leave Letter.
Attendance by the parents for any meeting convened by the school is compulsory. We solicit your presence and cooperation.
In order to apprise themselves of the student’s academic progress in school, parents should meet the teacher on the Open Day and share their mutual concerns. If you have a legitimate complaint or suggestion, the Headmistress should be contacted.
Whenever a call goes to the parent from the school in connection with the student’s work or conduct at school, the parent will kindly make it a point to respond to it in the interest of the Student.
The school fees should be paid on the days mentioned. Students who fail to pay the fees on time will not be allowed to appear for the examination or to participate in school activities/events. Promotion will be withheld.
Parents are not allowed to recommend admissions.
Any application at the School Office for documents such as Bonafide Certificates, Fee Reimbursement Certificate, etc., should be given with one week’s notice, and accompanied by a letter of request from the parent.
Parents are not allowed to give gifts to any of the teaching/ supporting staff.
Parents are requested to furnish their contact particulars to enable smooth communication from the school.
Kindly encourage your ward to participate in the co-curricular activities of the school apart from academics, since it contributes to the integral growth of the student.
