In 1996, the Maharashtra government declared that PTA is mandatory in all schools. The objective of the PTA Executive Committee is to support and co – ordinate with the management, staff and parents in order to enhance the scholastic, academic and extra – curricular development of our students, which will enable them to grow as responsible citizens of the society.
An Executive Committee comprising of Parent-Teacher representatives is elected every year. Here the parents can express views and seek clarifications to their problems regarding any matter concerning the education and all-round development of their ward. The teachers express their views and clarify doubts raised by the parents.
The PTA is also a platform to seek help for the betterment of the school and the students therein. But it should be noted that the PTA is not an organization which can dictate terms to the school authorities nor can it interfere in the day-to-day functioning of the school.
The PTA conducts various activities for the students to enhance their knowledge in various fields.
Field trips are organized as moments of social experience that provide the opportunity for students to encounter and explore novel things in an authentic setting.
